FACTORS THAT AFFECT PERMANENT MAKEUP
Oily skin and large pores can cause Microblading to blur, heal lighter and powdery.
Smoking can cause permanent makeup to fade faster.
Anemia and iron deficiency will cause your body to absorb iron based pigments more quickly.
Sun exposure will cause premature fading, wear sunscreen to prevent this.
Avoid harsh products around the permanent makeup area, such as anti-aging, retinol, Vitamin C, salicylic acid, and glycolic acid.
Excessive bleeding will affect how your body retains pigment. To minimize bleeding, avoid blood thinning medications, aspirin, ibuprofen, Vitamin E, alcohol and caffeine 24 hours before your procedure.
AFTERCARE
Clean 3 times a day for 10 days. Use gentle, unscented soap (Cetaphil or Cerave) or use water on a cotton round and wipe gently in one direction, no rubbing.
With a cotton swab, apply a very thin layer of Aquaphor or Vitamin A & D ointment on the tattoo 3 times a day. Do not use Neosporin or Vaseline.
Do not face the shower head face forward, you don't want the water beating on your face.
No excessive sweating, intense workouts, sauna, sun exposure or swimming for 10 days.
Do not touch or pick your tattoo if it scabs or flakes. Let scabs fall off naturally.
The tattoo will appear dark and thick right after the procedure and until they are healed. Once healed, they will be 40% lighter and 10% to 15% thinner.
